Faction Boss Info

Required Faction Boss Coins can be earned in Faction Boss Battles. The higher the difficulty, the more Coins you will get. Remember, each Level’s Reward can be earned four times by beating the Boss with a different Style. Beating a Level earns the rewards of all Levels before it. Winning with an entire team of Faction Members gives 2x the Faction Boss Coins.

Battle Tips

The Faction Boss will be focused on slowing players down using a Hardened Gem Shield and two moves that will disrupt your Superstars by increasing your MP cost and placing Immobile gems on the board. Use Superstars that can generate and break Black gems to take down his hardened shield and use the Black gem damage bonus. The Faction Boss may deal less damage than other bosses at first but increases his damage each turn, so use the Exhaust Boss Breaker to keep his damage down.

Superstar Strategies

Use Superstars with the following characteristics
- Focused Superstars
  - Regeneration-X Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to greatly increase the amount of MP you generate to combat the increased MP Cost debuff.
- Aggressive Superstars
  - Exhaust Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to lower the Boss’s damage; especially useful in later turns as the boss will deal more damage the longer the match takes.
- Black Gem Generation/Destruction
  - Take down the Black Gem Shield
  - Take advantage of the increased Black Gem Damage
- Multiply Gem Generation/Destruction
  - Take advantage of the increased Multiply Gem Damage Strength
