Faction Boss Info

Required Faction Boss Coins can be earned in Faction Boss Battles. The higher the difficulty, the more Coins you will get. Remember, each Level’s Reward can be earned four times by beating the Boss with a different Style. Beating a Level earns the rewards of all Levels before it. Winning with an entire team of Faction Members gives 2x the Faction Boss Coins.

BOSS MOVES

  - Deal Damage for any charged Black MP

Battle Attributes
- Some Battle Attributes will now scale with increasing difficulty levels. Boost amounts below are max values at level 23.
  - Power Gem Strength: +2250%
  - Yellow Gem Damage: +1500%
  - Multiply Gem Dmg Reduction: -1000%
  - Trap Gem Generation: -100

Boss Abilities

Deal Damage and Extra Bonus Damage Per Turn Passed
- Every turn, starting Turn 1
- This applies to all difficulty levels.
- Move deals bonus damage based on the Boss turn number

Hardened Yellow Gem Shield
- Every 2 Turns, starting turn 1
- Applies at difficulty levels
- Shield lasts 2 Turns.
- Shield HP Scales from 20-170 depending on the difficulty
- Shield will not be affected by Boss Breakers.

Boss Heal
- Every two turns, starting turn 2
- Applies at difficulty levels 6+
- Depending on the difficulty, heal ranges from 10%-20% of Boss’s Maximum Health.
- Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker will reduce the effectiveness of this move and will apply to the next Boss Heal after activation.

Deal KO Damage Per Charged Black MP
- Every Turn starting Turn 1
- Applies at difficulty levels 9+
- Damage will be dealt if any Superstar on the team has any Black MP charged

Battle Tips

Hulk Hogan “Hall of Fame” is here as this week’s Faction Boss! Defensively, the Boss will alternate between putting up a Hardened Yellow Gem Shield and Healing themself. The Shield will be unaffected by Boss Breakers, so make sure your team has some Superstars that can generate Yellow Gems to take the Shield down. Additionally, be equipped with the Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker to combat the Boss’s Heal Ability.

Avoid using Black moves as the Boss will not only punish your Superstars but your teammates as well. The Boss does, however, have weaknesses to Power Gems and Yellow Gems, so take advantage by utilizing Superstars that use these gem types!

Superstar Strategies

Use Superstars with the following characteristics
- Chaotic Superstars
  - Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to reduce the effectiveness of the Boss’s next Heal.
- Superstars that use Power Gems
  - Power Gems will receive a massive boost to their strength. Utilize Superstars that use Power Gems to take advantage.
- Superstars with a reliance on Yellow Gems
  - Yellow Gems will also gain a large increase in damage, so try to use Superstars that rely on Yellow Gems.

Avoid Superstars with the following characteristics.
- Black Moves
  - The Boss will deal massive damage to the whole team if any Superstar on the team has any amount of Black MP charged. Make sure to avoid using Black Moves at all costs.
- Trap Gems
  - Moves that create Trap gems will be unable to generate any. Avoid using Superstars that use them. Moves that create Trap gems in an area will still be usable.

Boss Breaker Abilities

Healer’s Steal (Chaotic)
- All Difficulty Levels
- Counter to Boss Heal Ability
- Ability works by Reducing the effectiveness of the Boss’s next Heal ability
  - Level 2-5: Decreased Cooldown
  - Level 6-7: Decreased Cooldown and increased Effectiveness
  - Level 8-9: Increased Effectiveness
  - Level 10: Decreased Cooldown and Increased Effectiveness

Please note:
If a Team member disconnects or leaves an ongoing Boss Battle, the Team won’t earn the full amount of Points for that battle.
