Boss Abilities

  • Every turn, starting Turn 1
  • This applies to all difficulty levels.
  • Move deals bonus damage based on the Boss turn number
• Hardened Purple Gem Shield
  • Every 4 Turns, starting turn 1
  • This applies at all difficulty levels.
  • Shield Lasts 1-2 Turns
  • Shield HP Scales from 20-100 depending on the difficulty
  • Shield will not be affected by Boss Breakers and can only be taken down by breaking Purple Gems
• Hardened Green Gem Shield
  • Every 4 Turns, starting turn 3
  • Applies at difficulty levels 5+
  • Shield Lasts 1-2 Turns
  • Shield HP Scales from 20-100 depending on the difficulty
  • Shield will not be affected by Boss Breakers and can only be taken down by breaking Green Gems.
• COMBO MOVE: Freeze Player Moves and Heal Boss
  • Every two turns, starting turn 2
  • Applies at difficulty levels 9+
  • Boss will Freeze 1 Move for each player for one turn, then heal itself for 10-20% of its maximum health.
  • Use the Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker after this Boss Move to remove the Frozen Move Debuff.
  • Use the Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker before this Boss Move to reduce the effectiveness of the Boss’ Heal.

Boss Level Difficulty Rarity Requirements

Higher Boss Difficulty Levels will require specific Superstar Rarities.

Battle Tips

The Usos bring two hardened shields to the battle, a Purple Gem Shield alternating with a Green Gem Shield. Boss Breaker’s won’t work on the shield so make sure to be prepared to break Purple and Green Gems.

They also feature a Combo Boss Move! The Boss will freeze one of your Superstar Moves and then Heal itself, so bring the Hell Freezes Over and Healer’s Steal Boss Breakers to nullify its effects. Take advantage of its weaknesses to Trap, Immobile, and Protect Gems to take down this dangerous Zombie.

Superstar Strategies

• Use Superstars with the following characteristics
  • Focused Superstars
    • Hell Freezes Over: Use this Boss breaker to un-freeze you and your teammates’ moves after the Boss uses their Combo Boss Move.
  • Chaotic Superstars
    • Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker before the Boss’s Combo Boss Move to reduce the Combo Move’s Heal effectiveness
  • Superstars that use Trap, Immobile, and Protect Gems
    • Trap, Immobile, and Protect will gain a damage buff against this Boss.
• Avoid Superstars with the following characteristics
  • Superstars that rely on Red Gem Damage
    • Red Gem Damage is reduced, so avoid Superstars that rely on it as their primary damage source.

• Healer’s Steal (Chaotic)
  • Counter to Boss Heal Ability
  • Ability works by Reducing the effectiveness of the Boss’s next Heal ability
    • Level 2-5 : Decreased Cooldown
    • Level 6-7 : Decreased Cooldown and increased Effectiveness
    • Level 8-9 : Increased Effectiveness
    • Level 10 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Effectiveness
