Faction Boss Info

Required Faction Boss Coins can be earned in Faction Boss Battles. The higher the difficulty, the more Coins you will get. Remember, each Level’s Reward can be earned four times by beating the Boss with a different Style. Beating a Level earns the rewards of all Levels before it. Winning with an entire team of Faction Members gives 2x the Faction Boss Coins.

Boss Abilities

Deal Damage and deal bonus damage per turn passed
- Every turn, starting Turn 1
- This applies at all difficulty levels
- Move deals bonus damage based on the Boss turn number
Hardened Purple Gem Shield
- Every 2 Turns, starting turn 1
- Applies at difficulty levels
- Shield HP scales from 20-100 depending on the difficulty.
- Shield Lasts 1-2 Turns, depending on the difficulty.
- Shield will not be affected by Boss Breakers
Heal Self
- Every 2 turns, starting Turn 2
- Applies at all difficulty levels 6+
- Heals 10-20% of total health, depending on the difficulty.
- Using the Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker before the Boss activates this move will reduce its effectiveness
Freeze Player Moves
- Every 2 turns, starting turn 2
- Applies at difficulty levels 9+
- Freezes 1-2 Player Moves depending on difficulty
- Debuff lasts for 1-2 Player Turns depending on difficulty
- Using the Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker after your moves are Frozen will remove the Frozen debuff

Battle Tips

Cody Rhodes makes his return as this week’s Faction Boss as the “Endless Summer”. Bring together your Faction teammates to take him on during this year’s Spring Outbreak! Be prepared with the Hell Freezes Over and Healer’s Steal Boss Breakers to counter his abilities. Also make sure your team is outfitted with Purple Gem Superstars to take down the Hardened Purple Gem Shield. Offensively, take advantage of his weakness to Purple, Multiple, and Protect gems.

Superstar Strategies

Use Superstars with the following characteristics
- Focused Superstars
  - Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to remove the Frozen debuff on your Superstar moves
- Chaotic Superstars
  - Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to reduce the amount the Boss will Heal.
- Purple Gem Superstars
  - Superstars that create and/or destroy many Purple gems will be needed to take down the Hardened Purple Gem Shield and deal increased damage.
- Protect and Multiply Gem Superstars
  - Superstars that utilize Protect Gems for damage will deal increased damage, and Multiply Gems will increase their Multiply Strength.

Healer’s Steal (Chaotic)
- Counter to Boss Heal Ability
- Ability works by Reducing the effectiveness of the Boss’s next Heal ability
  - Level 2-5 : Decreased Cooldown
  - Level 6-7 : Decreased Cooldown and increased Effectiveness
  - Level 8-9 : Increased Effectiveness
  - Level 10 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Effectiveness
Hell Freezes Over (Focused)
- Counter for Freeze Boss Moves
- Ability works by Un-freezing player moves
- Boss Breaker Upgrade Summary
  - Level 2-5 : Decreased Cooldown
  - Level 6-7 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Number of Teammates affected
  - Level 8-9 : Increased Number of Teammates affected
  - Level 10 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Number of Teammates affected
