Update: 7/15

Hey Champions,

Here is the Bug Changelog for the latest 0.441 update of WWE Champions 2020:

  • Some players weren’t able to access the new Contest Hub in 0.440.
  • The Contest Superstar timer was following the Tour schedule instead of the Contest Superstar schedule.
  • The last milestone reward showed as unclaimed if a player reached the number of points that equaled the points to reach the last milestone.
  • The competition milestones displayed the amount of claimed milestones and not the milestones which have already been passed.
  • Superstar Posters’ rarities in Grab Bags should now accurately display the possible rarities of that Superstar contained within that Grab Bag.

Please bear in mind, if an issue is not listed here it will not be included in the update, and therefore will take some more time to be fixed.

We are excited and proud to announce Update 0.440 for WWE Champions 2020! It lays not only the foundation of future Contests, but it will also bring a lot of usability improvements and, of course, bug fixes!

Contest Page Overhaul

We want to provide you with an easy and understandable way to participate in Contests and everything related to it. Thus, we have revamped the Contest page for simpler navigation.

  • From now on you will see only the MAJOR Contests on that page.
  • By tapping on one of these Contests you will be redirected to its own Contest page where you will find ALL needed info on HOW TO earn points in it!
  • You will be able to see all related sub-contests such as Coin/Evo contests, Talent Ups, TP contests, etc. These sub-contests that usually give you points for the main contests are now called “Competitions” in-game and are indicated with appropriate icons as well.
  • Contests and Competitions will show you Tasks that tell you what to do and where you have to go to earn points and make progress.
  • Contests can now have a special highlighted section that will show you new ways to earn points each day.
  • On the Contest page, you also have the option to browse through milestones, rankings, rewards, and respective Loot. A new Details Button brings you to the blog with more info on that Contest.
  • Depending on the Contest, you will now be able to claim FREE Superstars directly on the Contest page. One tap and the Superstar is yours!

Improved Contest Experience

When a major Contest starts, you will be notified in-game in a popup that links you directly to the Contest page!

  • Before this update, it was often difficult to understand what rewards you earned from a claimed milestone. Now, when you claim a milestone reward (or multiple milestone rewards) you will receive a pop-up with a complete summary of the rewards you earned. Now, every grab bag in milestone or leaderboard rewards will be automatically opened and its content will be listed as well together with all other rewards. This will give you a better overview of what your actual rewards were for completing your milestones.
  • The same popup will show up after a Contest ends. You can view and grab ALL rewards with a single tap on the “claim” button. If you didn’t claim your rewards manually they will automatically go into your mail after a certain amount of time.
  • Once a Contest has ended you will see on the Contest page for a limited time your Ranking Results and a button to take you to the Prize Wall (if there is any) where you can redeem your Contest currency for rewards.
  • Notifications for Faction Contest Progress are on a longer cooldown timer and can now also be toggled on and off for the current session by swiping up on the notification.

Contest Superstars

Some Contests will give you the option to earn more points IF you use specific Superstars.

  • Each Contest will have these Superstars highlighted in a separate tab on the Contest page.
  • If you are currently in a Tour or a Competitive Mode, you can tap the “Superstars” button in your Roster, which will provide a special Icon next to your Superstars who can give you EXTRA points for the Contest if you play with them!
  • We have also heard your feedback about restrictive Tours preventing many players from enjoying daily events in the game. Now, Tour Nodes with EXTRA points for Superstars are highlighted with an additional Icon as well, to let you know how many EXTRA points and rewards you can get on that tour/node. This allows us to provide you with less restrictive Tours but still provide great bonus rewards for using Contest Superstars!
  • If you don’t have a specific Contest Superstar and the Superstar’s icon says “GET!” you will see a FIND button that leads you to a Loot where you can have a chance to acquire the Superstar.

Improved Faction Search

  • If you are in no Faction, when a Faction Contest goes live, you will now be able to see it in the Contest page, along with a JOIN A FACTION button that brings you to the Faction search.
  • Searching for a proper Faction can be difficult sometimes, especially when that Faction isn’t as active as it seemed to be. From now on you will see only “active” Factions, so you can enjoy Faction contests as well.

Bug Changelog:

Please bear in mind, if an issue is not listed here it will not be included in the update, and therefore will take some more time to be fixed.

  • The Manager’s Rewards bar on some players was missing.
  • The Career button was able to tap when the tutorial is running.
    The text displayed below the Superstar poster showed only one rarity in the Grabbag Detail screen.
  • The Home screen became blank after returning from the Superstar Manage screen during a Faction Feud.
  • When 2 members of a faction contributed to a Faction contest at the same time with the same amount, this contest only received points from 1 member.
  • Bag Details screen displayed behind the Subscription pop-up.

The update is available in all major app stores! The roll-out might take a bit longer on some devices, so please come back later and check your store again.
