Battle Tips

The ruthless enforcer of the Bloodline, Solo Sikoa “Bloodline” makes his debut as this weekend’s Faction Boss. He will challenge you and your teammates’ abilities to deal with Frozen Moves and a Hardened Purple Gem Shield.

Additionally, he will buff himself if any Purple Gems are on your board. Make sure you are well prepared as a team with the right Boss Breakers, specifically, Hell Freezes Over and Neutralize, while also being ready with Superstars that generate and break Purple Gems to take down the shield swiftly.

He does have a weakness to Bleed Moves, Leech Gems, and Purple Gems, so make sure to take advantage of them, but avoid Blast Gems as moves that create numbers of Blast Gems will be unable to do so.

Superstar Strategies

Use Superstars with the following characteristics

• Focused Superstars
  • Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to un-freeze your frozen moves. 

• Chaotic Superstars
  • Neutralize Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to remove the Boss Buff that increases his damage.

• Superstars with Bleed Moves
  • Bleed Moves gain a large damage buff so take advantage of this by using Superstars with moves that deal Bleed damage.
  • Secondary Bleed Effects (Traps, Countdown, etc) are not affected by the Bleed Damage Buff.

• Superstars that use Leech Gems
  • Leech Gems gain a large damage buff, so make sure to utilize Superstars that create and destroy Leech Gems.

• Superstars that create and destroy Purple Gems
  • Purple gems gain a damage buff and will be helpful in taking down the Hardened Purple Gem Shield.

Avoid Superstars with the following characteristics.

• Superstars that rely on Blast Gem Damage
  • Superstars that create numbers of Blast Gems with moves will be ineffective as they will be unable to do so.
