  • This applies at all difficulty levels
  • Move deals bonus damage based on the Boss turn number
• Hardened Yellow Gem Shield
  • Every 2 Turns, starting turn 1
  • Applies at difficulty levels
  • Shield Lasts 2 Turns
  • Shield HP Scales from 20-110 depending on the difficulty
  • Shield will not be affected by Boss Breakers
• Freeze Player Moves
  • Every 2 turns, starting turn 2
  • Applies at difficulty levels 6+
  • Moves frozen will range from 1-2 player moves and last from 1-2 turns, depending on the difficulty level
  • Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker will remove this debuff
• Increase MP Cost
  • Every 2 turns, starting turn 2
  • Applies at difficulty levels 9+
  • MP Cost Increase scales from 3-10 depending on the difficulty
  • Debuff lasts for 1 Player Turn

Higher Boss Difficulty Levels will require specific Superstar Rarities.

Battle Tips

Prepare yourself and assemble your team to take on the Vader “Vader Time” Faction Boss! He will feature a large Hardened Yellow Gem Shield, so make sure your team is prepared with Superstars to generate and break Yellow Gems.

Multiply and Immobile gems will be super effective against the boss, so make sure you bring Superstars that utilize these gem types.

Offensively, Vader “Vader Time” will try to slow down your Superstar moves between Shields by Freezing and Increasing their MP Costs. Bring the Hell Freezes Over and Regeneration-X Boss Breakers to counter these Boss Abilities.

Superstar Strategies

• Use Superstars with the following characteristics
  • Focused Superstars
    • Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to remove the Frozen debuff on your Superstar moves.
    • Regeneration X Boss Breaker: Use this Boss Breaker to increase the amount of MP gained per gem match to counter the increased MP cost debuff from the Boss
  • Superstars that use Multiply Gems and Immobile Gems
    • Multiply and Immobile Gems will gain increased strength/damage against this Boss.
  • Superstars that create and destroy Yellow Gems
    • Yellow Gems need to be destroyed to take down the Boss’s Hardened Yellow Gem Shield
      
• Avoid Superstars with the following characteristics
  • Juggernaut Gems
    • Moves that create Juggernaut gems will be unable to generate any. Avoid using Superstars that use them. Moves that create Juggernaut gems in an area will still be usable.
