Boss HP

Boss Abilities

• Deal Damage and Extra Bonus Damage Per Turn Passed
  • Every turn, starting Turn 1
  • This applies to all difficulty levels
  • Move deals bonus damage based on the Boss turn number
• Hardened Yellow Gem Shield
  • Every 2 Turns, starting turn 1
  • Applies at difficulty levels
  • Shield Lasts 1-2 Turns depending on difficulty 
  • Shield HP Scales from 20-150 depending on the difficulty
  • Shield will not be affected by Boss Breakers
• Heal Boss
  • Every 2 turns, starting turn 2
  • Applies at difficulty levels 6+
  • Boss heals for 10-20% of their total health depending on difficulty
  • This can be reduced or fully neutralized by the Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker
• Freeze Player Moves
  • Every 2 turns, starting turn 2
  • Applies at difficulty levels 9+
  • Moves frozen will range from 1-2 player moves and last for 1-2 turns, depending on the difficulty level
  • Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker will remove this debuff.

Superstar Strategies

• Use Superstars with the following characteristics
  • Chaotic Superstars
    • Healer’s Steal Boss Breaker from Chaotic Superstars will allow your team to reduce the effectiveness of the Boss’s Heal Move.
  • Focused Superstars
    • Hell Freezes Over Boss Breaker from Focused Superstars will allow your team to remove the Frozen Move Debuff.
  • Yellow, X-Break, and Reinforce Gem Superstars
    • Superstars that utilize Yellow, X-Break, and Reinforce Gems will deal increased damage.
  • Yellow Gem Superstars
    • Superstars that create and destroy Yellow gems will be needed to take down the Boss shield.

• Healer’s Steal (Chaotic)
  • Difficulty 5+
  • Counter to Boss Heal Ability
  • Ability works by Reducing the effectiveness of the Boss’s next Heal ability
    • Level 2-5 : Decreased Cooldown
    • Level 6-7 : Decreased Cooldown and increased Effectiveness
    • Level 8-9 : Increased Effectiveness
    • Level 10 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Effectiveness
• Hell Freezes Over (Focused)
  • Difficulty 9+
  • Counter for Freeze Boss Moves
  • Ability works by unfreezing player moves
  • Boss Breaker Upgrade Summary
    • Level 2-5 : Decreased Cooldown
    • Level 6-7 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Number of Teammates affected
    • Level 8-9 : Increased Number of Teammates affected
    • Level 10 : Decreased Cooldown and Increased Number of Teammates affected
